Finally, Lisa Salters Has Someone to Eat Lunch With in the ESPN Cafeteria

Today, Jemele Hill, a Black woman, made her debut on Page 2 at ESPN.com. Some people thought her column was defensive, but I liked it. It was full of truth. Maybe I think that way because I am also a Black woman. Maybe I need to check my defensive nature too. But hey, that's the joy of diversity! True variety challenges everyone to match their predispositions to context. It's great that ESPN is giving an opportunity for different voices to get some shine. Everyone will benefit. Congratulations, Jemele, on your new job and say hi to Lisa for me.
