Things I Wouldn't Know If Not For Dan Le Batard
If you're solely familiar with Dan Le Batard from ESPN, I'm sorry. Notwithstanding, Dan is a pretty entertaining radio host. He is basically a cross between Dan Patrick and Will Ferrell. He's smart, but goofy. Mostly goofy. If I have nothing else to do and I'm otherwise able, I'm happy to listen to his show on 790 the Ticket. He is also a beneficiary of the Terrell Owens Get-a-Guy-a-Job-On-National-Television Scholarship Program. I presume Dan is proud to join his elite peers, Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders, by exclusively hosting the Terrell Owens radio show every Friday afternoon.
I think I am going to make this section a feature on my blog. Nothing elaborate and with irregular frequency, I will share the kernels of knowledge I gleam by way of Dan Le Batard. Just so you know he's good for something.
Just the other day I learned:
Scott Van Pelt does scary good impressions of Steven A. Smith and Mel Kiper, Jr. Scary good.
Ron Artest still dreams of working at Circuit City.
Ron Artest thinks Dwyane Wade is the best in the game.
John Lynch of the Denver Broncos owns one of those Total Gym machines that Chuck Norris and Christie Brinkley hawk - and he loves it!
Shaquille O'Neal is a black belt in martial arts, according to Chuck Norris.
