New York Jets running back Curtis Martin is certainly swimming through troubled waters as he deals with a season ending injury that may end his career. As if he didn't have enough on his plate, the Internet is swirling with rumors that Martin likes to beat up on his girlfriends when the going gets tough. The rumor was initially posted as a blind item describing an athlete who dated a solo singer that Martin allegedly punched, pushed and slapped and another singer in a group that Martin supposedly punched in the face and threw into a wall. It took the community about 3.9 seconds to fill in the blanks.
