Hoya Lament

I'm a Georgetown alum and I've promised to devote myself to the cause on this blog, but I can't. I just can't. Right now, the Hoya fan in me has gone dark. We lost to Oregon and Duke, with the Oregon lost being the most painful. Yeah, we stomped all over James Madison the other day, but that's not going to shake my funk. I'm not sure if I totally endorse this post, but if you want a recap of the JMU game, Awful Announcing attended the game personally.

So, instead of battling the highs and lows of beating Division III teams and dropping from #8 in the preseason poll to not being ranked a month into the season, I've decided I'll just wait until conference play starts before I start obsessing over the team.

I'm sad, but I still believe. Go Hoyas!
