Black History Month Tributes?

Kissing Suzy Kolber salutes its favorite Black people. A draft, Barack Obama and Clinton Portis are involved. Don't ask.

Why Don't We Get Drunk and Blog lists the advantages of being Black and all his favorite Black people. It includes prominent mentions of penis size and Alfonso Ribeiro. Don't ask.

Yelling Louder offers up some lesser known moments in Black history. Kirk Herbstreit is involved. Don't ask.

Thanks for trying, White people.

my friend at sanford soccer net linked to a story about african-american soccer pioneers, who intergrated American soccer several years before the MLB did. African-Americans also intergrated European leagues back in the 30's and 40's.

So there's that. I've long been tempted to sneak in biographies on my blog about the likes of Elijah McCoy and Granville T. Woods (I love Granville T. Woods) in honor of Black History Month. They weren't sportsmen, though. Just obscure geniuses.

Us white boys will keep trying.
