Karma is a Bitch

David Stern can't win.

After years of trying to clean up the NBA's horrible, horrible image, Stern can't catch a break on the eve of the NBA's marquee event, All Star Weekend.

I bet he was pissed that the Dunk contest was tarnished by Tyrus Thomas' statement that he was just showing up for free money.

But now, Friday's media opportunities will be bombarded with questions about gay athletes and Tim Hardaway with the media peppering every Black man over 6 feet tall about whether they hate gays like Tim. I'm sure this is just the sort of attention Dave had in mind.

Not to mention, the All Star bacchanalia is in Vegas. Stern would already have likely been pacing his hotel room floor at nights about whether some drama has jumped off with an NBA player and a fight or a stripper or a gun or some drugs.

Good luck with keeping the ship on course this weekend, Dave. I guess you reap what you sow.
